Sorry For What I Said When I Was Hungry Abroad

Being lost in a new country is always an adventure, but sometimes those adventures can take a turn for the worse when your stomach starts to growl. It's easy to get caught up in the excitement about exploring {aforeign land and forget about the most basic needs like food. This often leads to crankiness, which can result in some less than charming behavior.

I've definitely learned this the hard way on a few. One moment I was excited about tasting a local delicacy, and the next I was shouting at my travel companions because I hadn't eaten in hours. It's not exactly a behavior I'm proud of, but it just goes to show that even the most adventurous traveler can become a ravenous monster when they're hungry.

So, if you ever find yourself abroad and starting to feel grumpy, my advice is to find some food immediately. It might be the difference between having a fantastic trip and one that ends with some embarrassing moments.
